Mesón Don Pedro — Restaurant in Pájara

We've been here in December 2020. The restaurant itself is neat, lovely decorations etc.

What made me very upset was not only the size of our Cordon Blu it was also the quality, it tasted like it was out of the freezer, it was tiny and it came with a small amount of fries and vegetables. For 13,50€ I get something double the size in Germany! And something that tastes better.

I will give it another chance and change my review here if it was only a one time experience. But in my opinion that wasn't good and the waitress didn't understand us when we complained. My boyfriend was there last year and said the meat here is the best but I don't think so? The waitress said most people wouldn't it all of the menu because they complained it was too big.

Here's a solution: offer small, medium and big menu's.

Very pleasant. Just set back from the main beach front road. Nice to take a step back and sit inside and enjoy the gentle sound of conversation against the music softly playing in the background. You can comfortably inside or outside. The service is courteous and efficient with a fairly wide ranging menu at reasonable prices. My wife and I requested a modified house salad, to have with tuna. Wir wollten für 2 Personen Tapas essen. Leider ist es, auch wenn es im Namen steckt beziehungsweise draussen dran steht, kein Restaurant für Tapas.

Wir haben insgesamt 5 Vorspeisen bestellt.

Brot mit Alioli Gemischter Salat Serrano Schinken Fritierter Käse Kanarische Kartoffeln

Wir waren zu dem Zeitpunkt die einzigen im Restaurant. Das Brot kam sofort, nach 15 Minuten die Kartoffeln und der Schinken. Nach 15 Weiteren Minuten der Käse und nach 50 Minuten nach Aufgabe der Bestellung der Salat. Für 5 Vorspeisen zu viel Zeit benötigt.

Das Essen kam ohne Erklärung oder Entschuldigung.

Insgesamt war es von der Qualität her gut, jedoch nicht besonders angerichtet.. Preislich war es hinnehmbar. Jedoch waren wir für 5 kleine Vorspeisen fast zwei Stunden im Restaurant. Da keine anderen Gäste da waren, war die Zeit für das Essen nicht erklärlich. Leider waren wir sehr enttäuscht und wir werden nicht nochmal hingehen. Das Personal war freundlich aber sehr zurückhaltend. Kaum Fragen, keine Empfehlung und auch keine Zwischenfrage, ob wir noch was bestellen wollen. Essen würde kommentarlos hingestellt. Hier hätte man sich etwas mehr Mühe geben können. Dazu hätten wir uns gefreut, alles gleichzeitig zu bekommen, sodass man alles zusammen essen hätte können....
