We stopped by Playa del Matorral on our way to Cofete Beach and were pleasantly surprised. It’s a lovely, long, and wide beach located right next to the town of Morro Jable. Thanks to its size, there’s plenty of room for everyone to relax, even during busier times.
The golden sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters make it a perfect spot for sunbathing and swimming. The beach stretches for about 4 kilometers, so you’ll never feel cramped here. It’s also well-kept and has been awarded the Blue Flag for cleanliness and quality.
All along the promenade, there are loads of cafés, restaurants, and small shops where you can grab a bite, a coffee, or even do some shopping. Whether you’re after a chill beach day or just a short stop to take in the view, this place is definitely worth a visit.
We really enjoyed our short visit – it’s got a relaxed vibe, easy access, and all the amenities you...

The location is perfect — right by the lighthouse in Jandía, with easy access to shops, cafés, and the lovely promenade. The beach itself is wide, spacious, and has beautiful soft sand, making it ideal for long walks or simply relaxing.
Sunbeds and umbrellas are available and reasonably priced (around €15 for two loungers and one umbrella), which makes spending the whole day there super comfortable.
It can get quite windy at times, so be prepared for some gusts — but honestly, that’s part of the charm for us. We absolutely love it here and keep...
