We stopped by Playa del Matorral on our way to Cofete Beach and were pleasantly surprised. It’s a lovely, long, and wide beach located right next to the town of Morro Jable. Thanks to its size, there’s plenty of room for everyone to relax, even during busier times. The golden sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters make it a perfect spot for sunbathing and swimming. The beach stretches for about 4 kilometers, so you’ll never feel cramped here. It’s also well-kept and has been awarded the Blue Flag for cleanliness and quality. All along the promenade, there are loads of cafés, restaurants, and small shops where you can grab a bite, a coffee, or even do some shopping. Whether you’re after a chill beach day or just a short stop to take in the view, this place is definitely worth a visit. We really enjoyed our short visit – it’s got a relaxed vibe, easy access, and all the amenities you need nearby.

This is the main nudist zone in Fuerteventura. There is a sectioned off part with sunbeds which is kind of in the middle of the light house and the beach bar heading towards morrojable. Most of the nudist are older people but at least there is a zone to feel free. The beach is also an amazing long yellow sand beach with warm water in August. Be careful with the tide because sometimes it comes up very high.

Stunning brach with clean turquoise waters and soft sand. I went there in early December, and the water was a little cold but felt more like refreshing and easy to enjoy. It was a windy day, and I had great fun jumping the big waves. Lots of facilities around, bathrooms, parking and shops. We also spotted some cute squirrels on the way to the beach. I would definitely go back.

This beach is very spacious but the sand to me is quite coarse and black....from a distance it looks white but once on is a mixture of black & white sand, and after years of holidaying in Corralejo, north of the island we thought we would try Jandia as had heard it had the best beaches on the island but sadly, not in my opinion...I have travelled to Australia, Thailand, Cuba to name a few but have not yet found a beach to rival Oliva Beach in Corralejo...pure white sand, turquoise sea and vast sand dunes as far as the eye can see....if you are all about the beach then North of the island of Fuerteventura in my opinion can’t...

One of our favorite beaches on the island!

The location is perfect — right by the lighthouse in Jandía, with easy access to shops, cafés, and the lovely promenade. The beach itself is wide, spacious, and has beautiful soft sand, making it ideal for long walks or simply relaxing.

Sunbeds and umbrellas are available and reasonably priced (around €15 for two loungers and one umbrella), which makes spending the whole day there super comfortable.

It can get quite windy at times, so be prepared for some gusts — but honestly, that’s part of the charm for us. We absolutely love it here and keep...
