No idea how the Michelin stars are granted but this place definitely deserves one.
The food is insanely tasty. All the tapas and starters are an amazing sensory journey - impeccable quality, fresh ingredients, kind and welcoming staff - it became THE place we went for daily dinner, just to be able to go through like 90% of the menu.
Their tuna (whether it's on a croquet, in ceviche is, on a brioche or in sashimi) is to die for and the cheesecake will make you a believer in the superiority of goat cheese. Always ask for the catch of the day! We lucked into a delicious and delicate filet, prepared with care and with zero fish-bones.
Be aware - if they say "dish for a minimum of 2" they mean it! You will not be able to let of of the paella even if it's clearly too big to finish after the octopus sticky rice and sushi tacos!
We cannot comment on the lobster. It looked too friendly in the tank to order. The XL shrimps with butter were impeccable though.
Do not get discouraged by the temporary construction works outside on the approach to the beach (2025) - there's no noise inside.
We WILL come back and eat through the entire...

We had the Tuna tatar for starters - the most amazing starter dish ever. Do not expect the taste of tuna in a tin can. This is far better, and the spicy oil marinate really compliments the tuna itself.
For main course, one of us had the "Wood grilled shrimps with meuniére sauce", absolutely delicious course with very well tasting shrimps. Worth to try!
The other of us, had a main course consisting of 750 grams of Simmental 30+ days of dryage ribeye steak, with accessories as french fries. It was ordered medium done, and as so it was grilled perfectly. On a chopping board you get it served as cut out in slices, in a very satisfying manor. Absolutely worth to try, if you like a proper grilled steak.
We've tried several, almost every single one of the restaurants in the area, and we must say, that Salvaje takes the price, as the very best place to eat.

Read moreWe walked in without a lunch reservation and were told it would be likely 1.5 hours until they could seat us. So we waited at the ice cream place next door as we were determined to eat there, and less than an hour later, Cristian (sorry if I spelled that wrong!) actually came and found us to bring us to our table! So helpful, kind, and generous with his menu advice and general good hospitality. We had seafood paella, tuna tacos, and asked for a side of Canarian potatoes - it was all beyond delicious! This was a couple of weeks ago and I still dream about it, especially the paella. And also the tacos (apparently it is locally caught but isn’t commonly available, so we were lucky to have it so fresh that day). Okay, I dream about all of it! Would 100% recommend this place, and also 100% recommend making a booking as we learned. Can’t wait to go back one day when we visit the...
