A restaurant to fall in love with. So much in advance. But before I get to the food that we ordered,the location is right at the port of Morro Jable and fresh fish is guaranteed here. Because right next to the restaurant there is a small hall where the freshly caught fish is processed and sold by the fishermen. In front of the restaurant are in the harbor, the fishing boats are anchored and the atmosphere alone that is sprayed here makes you really hungry and it was clear to us that we have to eat here and you want to go straight in and study and discover the menu. The peculiarities that struck me quickly were that it was generally more the locals of the island of Fuerteventura who came to eat here. That showed me that it is very local. We were excited about how it will taste. After which we traditionally ordered a paella with seafood and fish, which is freshly prepared here and thus took about 40 minutes. At that time, bread rolls with various oils and spices were already being served as a starter, so waiting for the delicious paella doesn't feel so long any more. Great variety of reasonably priced seafood done Canarian style, probably the freshest and best on Fuerteventura Island, served by friendly and quick staff.

If you’re here for the first time, don’t miss the lapas (limpets) as starter and then try a tuna fillet steak or a sole, both served with papas arrugadas (Canarian wrinkly potatoes), mojo picón (red mojo sauce) and salad. Desserts can also be highly recommended.

Te atienden porque no les queda más remedio.

Empecemos: he comido tres veces en este lugar.

La primera más o menos bien, le di otra oportunidad y fue BASTANTE REGULAR pero como siempre digo: un mal día lo tiene cualquiera y regrese una tercera… (lo se, soy terca) que fue absolutamente mala.

Llegamos dos horas antes de tomar el barco para poder comer tranquilos, ya que la escapada había sido por un cumpleaños.

Primero: El restaurante lleno de moscas y esto ha sido en las tres ocasiones.

Segundo: El personal muy antipático, parece que vas a pedir regalado o fiado.

Pero bueno… una vez allí y con el tiempo encima tiras Pa’delante.

Tercero: La comida estaba realmente fea, se quedó más de la mitad. Cada uno quería un pescado frito y nos trajeron una bandeja de mix de pescados (que nunca pedimos) para cuatro 🤦🏼‍♀️ que tampoco era el problema, ya que si hubiera estado bueno, lo hubiéramos pasado por alto, pero no, estaba refrito, al decírselo al mesero fue muy descortés y sinceramente no quería amargarme.

El pescado estaba disecado de lo hecho que les quedó. El gofio una verdadera asquerosidad (parecían las sobras) daba asco hasta mirarlo, lo dejamos entero.

Mi esposo pidió un pulpo frito incomible porque claramente era refrito y aquello parecía un caucho quemado, se quedó sin comer porque tampoco había de donde escoger…

A quien no le apetece una comida rica el último día de sus vacaciones y de regreso a casa? Pues nos tuvimos que confirmar con merendar en el barco 🫤

Pedimos otras papas (imposible liarla con unas papas, no?) pues no las trajeron pero si estaban en la factura.

En resumen: comida fea y cara. Servicio pésimo. Obviamente...
