Baretu — Restaurant in Palamós

I cannot imagine a better place to have dinner. Everything was perfect! The food. The waitress. The atmosphere. Everything! The waitress, Valeria, was exceptional and friendly. We had many questions about the menu. We do not speak Spanish, but she tried very hard (with a smiling face) to help us understand what the items were on the menu. She also had wonderful suggestions for us. We really appreciated her. We tried many different items - bread, bravas, calamari, croquettes, empanadas, suckling pig, a sausage sandwich (don’t remember what the name was) and cheesecake. Everything was absolutely PERFECT! Fresh, seasoned and cooked to perfection, and very very tasty! We honestly could not see any room for improvement on anything we tried. Very reasonable prices too. Highly recommend this place...

Wow! What a great find! The staff....very helpful and so much fun. They loved that we ( more so my husband) tried to order in Spanish and immediately made us feel welcome and relaxed with lots of laughter between us. The atmosphere is happy, relaxed and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time. The food was fabulous. We ordered the goats cheese salad and the calamari along with recommended tomato bread and then we shared an Entrecot Each dish was beautifully presented and the flavours were fantastic.. the helpfulness with menu decisions were truly appreciated.Wine is also very reasonably priced. We had a really enjoyable evening. This is a "must" visit when you are in Palamos. Thankyou...

Five stars on all level. Fantastic food and wines, and really great service

Everything is served with passion here, from the lovely staff to the quality of food, you can literally tell how much they love what they do. Which is hard to find nowadays.

We had sautéed clams and grilled chorizo as starters, and Iberian feather pork as main, all cooked to perfection and they pay so much attention to the details and side. The dessert, creamy mango with goat cheese ice cream was a great surprise too.

Applause to the chefs and front of house staff, keep it up 👍🏻! It rounded up our trip in Catalonia perfectly. Will definitely come back when we next visit the area. Highly...
