How this establishment managed to get a Bib Gourmand is one of the unsolved mysteries of the century! Unfortunately the food and price did not meet the expectations. Also, the most sad part was that the service could have made up for the lacks in the kitchen, but it didn’t. The cod pil pil was bland and the sauce was over worked and drowning the fish (which was probably frozen). The beef filet with foie gras had no foie, and when asked the waiter the answer was: “we could not get any foie gras”, which is laughable. (No comp for this in the final bill). The only delicious part of the meal were the local Red Shrimp from Palamós, which were out of this world delicious… therefore the 3rd star… but these 10 knights of the sea came at the princely price of 40 euros… so buyer be aware! Top tip: Go for the paella or fixed menu…...
