Une énorme déception, à la hauteur de la réputation… mais à l’envers. Dès l’arrivée, on comprend qu’on dérange. Le serveur ? Pressé, absent, presque agacé. À peine assis qu’on sent déjà qu’il a envie qu’on parte. Nous commandons des gambas, spécialité locale soi-disant… On reçoit des crevettes de la taille d’un doigt. Portions ridicules, aucune générosité. Et nos enfants ? Servis en dernier, sans même un menu pour eux. Le plat (des calamars) arrive seul, sans accompagnement, sans citron, sans rien. Une assiette triste comme l’accueil. Alors oui, certains plats croisés sur d’autres tables semblaient plus soignés. Mais nous, on a clairement tiré le mauvais numéro. Et pour un restaurant aussi bien noté, c’est inadmissible. Service inexistant, cuisine bâclée. Seul point positif : le serveur, conscient de la situation, a fait un geste en ne facturant pas les gambas. Geste apprécié, mais qui ne sauve pas l’expérience. Plus jamais. ⸻ Español (corregido) Una enorme decepción, a la altura de la reputación… pero al revés. Desde que llegamos, se notaba que molestábamos. ¿El camarero? Apurado, ausente, casi molesto. Apenas sentados, ya sentíamos que quería que nos fuéramos. Pedimos gambas, supuesta especialidad local… y nos traen gambitas del tamaño de un dedo. Raciones ridículas, sin generosidad. ¿Y nuestros hijos? Servidos los últimos, sin menú infantil, con un plato de calamares sin acompañamiento, sin limón, sin nada. Un plato tan triste como el trato. Sí, algunos platos en otras mesas parecían más cuidados. Pero a nosotros nos tocó claramente la peor parte. Y en un restaurante tan bien valorado, esto es inaceptable. Servicio inexistente, cocina descuidada. Único punto positivo: el camarero, consciente de la situación, tuvo el detalle de no cobrarnos las gambas. Se agradece, pero no compensa la experiencia. everything was beautiful and atmospheric, we enjoyed the food and consulted with the waiters on any kind of food ordered, everything was tasty but when paying I had an unpleasant surprise the price for the fresh fish was 88 €, which seems quite excessive (maybe I'm wrong but it surprised us) Normally, we should have called someone at the table to show us how much the fish weighed or we should have chosen the agreed size ourselves (which was not the case) and we were left bewildered when we saw the amount of 88 eur, just for the fish.

This was one of my favorite places to eat in Costa Brava. The Gambas were amazing (we did the small but I would come back for the medium). We also tried the fideua (similar to paella but made with fideos/short spaghetti), this is a dish thats hard to get right and it did not disappoint. The wine, olives and olive oil (all local to the region) were also stars of the show. The coffee came with a delicious chocolate truffle and the cheescake was top notch! Highly recommend if you visit Palamos in Costa Brava.

This was one of my favorite places to eat in Costa Brava. The Gambas were amazing (we did the small but I would come back for the medium). We also tried the fideua (similar to paella but made with fideos/short spaghetti), this is a dish thats hard to get right and it did not disappoint. The wine, olives and olive oil (all local to the region) were also stars of the show. The coffee came with a delicious chocolate truffle and the cheescake was top notch! Highly recommend if you visit Palamos in Costa Brava.

Not a very pleasant dining experience. We dont mind paying a little bit more and I am a huge seafood lover!! The ingredients are fresh enough but the chef in the restaurant is using way too much salt, which overpowers the falvour of the seafood as it is all just drawned in salt. The best part of the meal was the olive oil and bread (which was lovely).

We ordered Fried Anchovies, Gambas and Can Blau Casserole. The waiter served us a dish of Anchovies on toast (which weren't the fried ones we ordered), we asked whether they had mixed up the order and was told "we don't have Fried Anchovies on the menu". We thought we must have made a mistake and accepted it, only to find out later that what we were told is incorrect and that fried anchovies are indeed on their menu according to google.

Although it was a generous portion, the individual gambas were small and were very salty, overpowering the dish. The casserole was also overly salty. I ended up washing my casserole rice with bottled water, which did help impove it and bring back some of the flavour, but was still quite a salty taste. Admittedly it might be just the poor choice on our part, but it kinda made our wedding anniversary a lot less enjoyable. We came here for the high-rated reviews and left feeling very...

We went Palamos bcz of I search for Cardinal Prawn (Carabineros) when i dig deeper and deeper I found out Gambes de Palamos is famous too even though it is not for export bcz only local market can use up all. So I put Palamos in my trip, And here “Can Blau” is famous restaurant around this area. As we checked with our airbnb host that also recommend this restaurant. Must try black ink rice on it. After half day walk around this sea-side area, we back here just before 18:00 so we are the first one couple (Asian) step up that door.

There are nice atmosphere with outside sun down lovely yellow orange light

The boss was nice and honest. Bcz he told us Le Gamba L size not much bigger than M size but pay db price.So we accept his suggestion “M size” it was amazing good texture just in really simply grill - may be 1 min each side. It seems like Sashimi but not raw.

And the black ink rice Casserola Euro 45 for two, the big value will surprise you. I found some langoustine inside the rice.

Also that night boss introduced Mascado Wine was...
