Aroma India Portixol — Restaurant in Palma

We've been to many Indian restaurants and this review is based on our personal preference.

Food: 2/5. Food was very average compared to other indian restaurants we've been to. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala but the sauce was very watery, sweet and no spice (we are more used to having more of a thicker consistency with more saltiness and spicy flavour for this particular dish). The Cheese and Garlic Naan didn't seem very cheesy. Our favourite dish was the Prawn Puri which had amazing flavour with the right amount of saltiness and onions. The rice with the eggs was a little too dry for our liking.

Price: 2/5. Quite pricey for what you get. Small servings - not many chicken pieces in the Chicken Tikka Masala and only 4 prawns in the Prawn Puri.

Service: 5/5. Super friendly and welcoming staff. It's great that they stay open quite late as we arrived for a late dinner.

Atmosphere: 5/5 Indoor and outdoor seating available. Indian music playing in the background but the type of music played was not too overwhelming. Nice...

This review can be a 3 ⭐ or 4 ⭐ depending on who you are. If you are not Indian and want to have the "Indian" food that you have experienced without ever having been to India then it's a 4 star review for you. The food will be as good or better than the places you would have been to. The quality and service is nice. The location and ambience is top too. Now if you are an Indian, it's not authentic Indian cuisine. This is the westernised, mellowed down version of it. And so it's a 3 star review for you guys. I tried the Paneer tikka masala, which tasted nothing like it's supposed to. But it was okay. The chicken Biryani was, again, just okay. The Mango lassi however was good. I recently dined at Aroma India, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant was very clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.

The food was excellent, full of authentic Indian flavors and served fresh. Every dish was prepared with care, and the quality truly stood out. I appreciated the attention to detail and the balanced spices that made the meal so enjoyable.

The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. I felt well taken care of throughout the visit.
