The food was Ok, nothing special and quite expensive. Only very nice photos for advertising. I had poke bowl, which was basic, my friend had chicken, which was underseasoned.
The service was surprisingly rude. From first moment the waiter was bossy and unfriendly, we were looking at the menu as he was impatiently standing next to us, though the place wasn't even busy, when we started our order with small water to share, he almost rolled his eyes that we wanted the small water not the big (we only started ordering and planned on getting other drinks also). As we asked for the bill, we asked if possible, could we pay separately (as 2 different people, as we are not a couple or a family etc). Most places we have asked no one has said anything bad about this. The waiter checked and ran away, came back with the bill and snapped at us, that in the future it is not possible and that basically its not ok to even ask this. As I mentioned it hasn't been a problem elsewhere he snapped that well here it is. How rude?! After that his attitude was very cold and barely looked at us while we paid.
Sad that this was the standard of service here; we had planned on going back for drinks but 100% will not now and don't recommend this either. The beachfront is full of great places to...
Read moreService was VERY BAD and disrespectful. Firstly, the water was served from a glass that was dirty. Secondly, got the wrong food, while ordering first from our table (friend of mine wanted the same food and gor theirs correctly). All the other people from the table had finished the food when mine arrived. Thirdly, the rain started to drop and pillows were taken from our seating underneath us when sitting (!!!), I was still eating my food and was hurried out of the place. Since I hadn’t finished my water, took it with me to drink it since the final food was still going to my stomach. The waiter ran back to get the bottle from me and still had at least half the water there. The waiter was very disrespectful and said nothing as to being sorry and mentioned then not speaking English. Gave the full bottle back to them and do not recommend to go there...
Read moreFirst of all, the name of kimchi chicken baobun is not correctly paraphrased. As you read it in the menu, guests expect to see in the plate just kimchi not the sauce itself as we learned only after asking to server. So thats really deceitfull. There is no kimchi comes apart with this dish or in the bao itself. Also the chicken itself bought frozen ready made, just feep fried and served for the price 14 euros one piece of chicken cut by half. Totally high priced for such efortless preparation and ingredients. I guess shrinkflation or inflation is the only explanation or greedines... Wagamama sells handmade baobuns for 8 Euros for...
