Pao Pao — Restaurant in Palma

We came in looking for a smash burger and club sandwich, I’d checked reviews online and this looked like the right place. Both meals were delicious. The club sandwich contained a whole chicken breast that was cooked perfectly. My husband really enjoyed the burger, which seemed to be the only actual ‘smash’ burger in the area. Both came with a huge portion of thin, crispy French fries and were served diner-style in baskets. At only €10-15 per person it was amazing value for money too.

The music was unbearably loud for us, we kind of suffered through it for a good meal with a nice view. We couldn’t really chat for this reason and it made the visit less enjoyable for us.

The staff were friendly but it was really hard to get someone’s attention for a second drink or the bill. Eventually we’d had enough of waiting and I walked inside to pay but this caused a lot of confusion. It felt quite stressful trying to communicate over the really loud music. Went in this bar first night of our holiday .I asked at end of night after drinking larger for a glass of jack daniels. The barman gave me a glass of cheap wisky, which was not jack daniels. Food is limited but really great and drinks are awesome. The real OG Sangeria we found here. Most of the other places, it was bit strong or added sugar taste but here you can feel real juice in wine.
