This is a tiny (true to its name but there’s upstairs too) authentic Italian restaurant with warm atmosphere. We ordered the pizza puttanesca and a passion fruit mojito.
For those unfamiliar, puttanesca is traditionally a pasta dish made with tomato, capers, olives, pickled peppers, and anchovy for an umami kick. They translated it into pizza form. As you can imagine, it’s salty but this is exactly as it should be, given the nature of the ingredients.

Between the authentic cooking, the intimate setting, and the unexpected cocktail highlight, this is a wonderful spot for a laid-back evening with genuine Italian character. Highly...
Read moreThis was a really a dissappointing experience. We called the pizzaria in advance and placed our order. They told us that it would take 10 minutes before they were ready. When we finally got the pizza’s they were undercooked and it was like eating raw dough. Furthermore the staff can’t speak nor understand one word english. Gelato was the first course to dull the pain, then came the pizza, half cheese, half (fresh) sausage. Just the right size, great cheese, with a little seasoning and a few basil leaves as a finishing touch. Happy wife, happy life. Despite a very rough day, she's smiling and grateful for this much needed treat.
The owner was very gracious too. My Spanish is moderate at best, but we made it work. He even gave me a tea bag to help my wife's sore throat. Might have to get back...
