La Locanda Italiana — Restaurant in Peníscola / Peñíscola

I recently visited La Locanda Italian Restaurant with a family of six adults, and our experience was absolutely delightful. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and were exceptionally accommodating throughout our meal.

The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with authentic Italian flavors. We tried a variety of items from the menu, and every single one was a hit. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauces were rich and flavorful, and the desserts were a sweet end to a perfect meal.

Very nice little Italian restaurant, with great service and great food. The spaghetti al polpo and the calamarata were excellent, the lasagna was also very good. Excellent combination of culinary experiences by a couple of cooks from Modena and Napoli, two capitals of Italian cuisine. The show stealer was the Tiramisù di Laura: a masterful, extremely original, and superbly delicious rendition of the Italian classic dessert through coffee ice cream, mascarpone, and a crunchy chocolate cookie. I changed my rating from 4 to 5 stars since a bad waiter is now gone, l’ve been back at least 5 times (and lm abt an hours drive away) and each time the food was just fantastic.
