I do not recommend this restaurant, walk a little further and find a better place. We went as a group of six friends, and the service was unpleasant from the start. The food was overly salty to the point where we couldn’t keep eating, even though we were hungry. We ordered creamy rice with shrimp, prawns, and mussels, which they call the “menu of the day,” but they only served us one shared dish, claiming there wasn’t enough space on the table, which obviously meant smaller portions. We spoke with the manager, but he showed no interest in our feedback and dismissed our comments. In short, I would not recommend...

• edición de tres meses después. Volvemos a Peñiscola y vamos una vez más a este sitio que nos gustó tanto. Sorprendido estoy porque no parece el mismo. El arroz meloso duro con mejillones gelatinosos, el sabor bien pero desesperadamente normal. El cabracho muy rico, muy sabroso y fino. El arroz con leche líquido y muy cutre.

La bebida, una botella de agua pequeña y solo 1 copa de vino, no 1/2 o botella entera como en todos los otros sitios. Lo raro es que a principio de temporada nos pusieron botella las 4 veces que fuimos, ahora ya no.

Y ya cuando te traen la cuenta y ni preguntan qué tal todo.... Vale que la temporada ha sido dura, yo también soy hostelero y estoy cansado, pero tampoco es cuestión de bajar tanto.

Nos hemos sorprendido porque de verdad lo teníamos como un sitio de referencia para comer/cenar y hoy ha sido hasta un poco decepcionante. Ya veremos el año que viene si se recupera la cosa. *Un sitio muy bueno. Terraza agradable donde corre el viento. Carta amplia aunque nosotros comimos siempre de menú y no nos quedamos con hambre nunca.

Postres caseros elaborados por el propio restaurante, a destacar el brownie, espectacular.

Pescado fresco, elaborado con mimo. Parece que preparan todo al momento según lo que se pide por lo que, dependiendo del plato pedido, tardan un poco pero la espera vale mucho la pena.

15.50€ el menú y en temporada alta dos...

Came here because of the good reviews but after eating there by god do I not understand how this place can hold up 4 star reviews with how bad the hygiene standards must be in this place. The food itself tasted okay until we found not one but THREE HAIR on our plate of paella. I dont understand how this can happen in a restaurant. Hair in food is absolutely unacceptable. Didnt ask for my money back wanted to save myself the nerves. Will not go...
