¡Ay Chihuahua! Tacos & Beer — Restaurant in Pilar de la Horadada

I dont like giving negative reviews but unfortunately I found our waitress to be extremely rude. When she heard us speaking English she assuming we were english(not that that actually matters but we are irish ) her attitude completely changed. She refused to give us menus instead tapping rudely on a qr scanner, even though the people behind us had a actual menu 🙄 At this point I decided to not get any food as I work hard for my money and why would give it away in exchange for a rude waitress? I had already ordered a mojito and my partner got a taco. Partner said it was OK but I had a bite and thought it was very bland honestly,no spice at all. The owner is an extremely nice, fun and welcoming person, he is always happy and singing, it's always a blast to go have lunch there. The fold tasted very well. I have been there several times and have tried very different dishes and they always surprise me. Camote frito is a MUST, it's overwhelming. The burgers and the enchiladas are highly reccomendable.

The quality/price ratio is not great because it is a little bit expensive compared to other restaurants in the nearby. However, in Spain Mexican restaurants are always a little bit expensive and this one's prices are not remarkable at all. The decoration is inspiring.

Where can I start. The food was pretty good from what we have chosen there. The only thing which we didn't like that much was the variety of vegetarian dishes. There could a an improvement.

Besides that the restaurant is giving what it advertises with. You get Tacos which taste good. You get a variety of cold beer and other drinks like cocktails which come in a big range.

But potentially the biggest factor was the mice service we experienced. We have been there on a busy Friday evening and the waiters were extremely polite.

One big surprise was the mariachi band playing there for the customers. This was bonkers!
