We stumbled upon this place while browsing for Indian cuisine within the area and decided to give a try after reading some of the reviews. The place is lovely, we sat at the terrace and the weather was perfect (not too hot), waiter was also attentive and courteous. There were 4 of us and we ordered some starters, 4 main dishes, briyani, naan and a bottle of wine and bill came up to an average €18 per pax which we felt was very reasonable. However in terms of the portion of dishes and taste, we were abit disappointed as it was smaller than anticipated and taste was not as authentic as the other Indian restaurants we have been to. Nonetheless, among the notable to mention dishes was definitely the Chicken Shalshik, Cheese Naan and Briyani. Kurma and Mango was abit too sweet for our liking perhaps it's specifically to cater the local taste preferences. Would recommend to check out the place if you can't take too spicy but would like to try something different...
Read more(WHAT IS THIS PLACE). We were told about a new restaurant that has been open for a few months now, so we thought we would give it a try. In a new shoping mail in Torro de la horadada. We where told it was a Indian and the food and service where fantastic. On first impressions that is what you are walking into. A walm welcome from the staff, that's when it gets a bit confusing when we where given the menu's (IS IT A INDIAN CURRY HOUSE A ITALIAN PIZZA PARLOUR OR A TEX-MEX ALL ON THE MENU). It's nice to have a choice, but if I am going out for a Indian I would prefer to have a Indian not a pasta? or a text mex. We did have a Indian, and the food was very good but not like a authentic Indian restaurant. (WOULD BE BETTER TO SICK TO ONE THING AND GET THAT RIGHT THEN TRY 3 THINGS AND GET IT WRONG). Next time I fancy a pizza I'm going down my...
Read moreWe regularly choose to eat here as it's an excellent choice of food (we normally have Indian, although there are other options), very good quality, very helpful staff, and a really nice atmosphere. There's a choice of inside/ outside with good shade, and it's upstairs at the new plaza so has some nice views. Is surprisingly quiet at times, so a hidden gem, although it's only a 3 minute walk from the harbour area in Torre. Often the best places are a few streets back from the main tourist walkways. Don't let the name put you off, the food quality is very good indeed! The plaza itself is very smart and quite new but its mostly restaurants so not too many shops to browse. We like to walk down to the harbour area for a coffee or an ice cream after eating in The...
