5 friends, 3 from out of the country, wanted for friends to try this place after reading the reviews. Wanted the experience. To me it was like "Best kept secret" discovered. Hubby and I live in the area, have eating in 3 #Piratas restaurant's but never in #PirataClubNáutico. The experience was awesome! The food including sepia & almejas a la...., Pirata salad & clams... as starters. Delicious!! I've read reviews about the fish dishes so all 5 of us went for fish!! Flavor, service, presentation, top!! Tomás, one of our waiters, the entire crew were all awesome! The wine, the view of the port, the setting, the atmosphere was so attractive we did not want to leave. Of course, we ordered a red house wine, no complaints from any of the 5. I can't talk about prices because one of the five sneaked out & paid for everything! Did not see the bill but I am sure it was high! I've been to this restaurant on several occasions. Regrettably, the quality and service have only continued to deteriorate. After an agonizing wait of 2 hours post-meal, with empty glasses of wine and no water, without any staff attention and an additional 20-minute delay just to receive our bill, I was thoroughly frustrated. The culinary experience didn't help either. Ordering a medium-rare steak, I was met with a nearly well-done piece that lacked the anticipated flavor. To top it all off, the audacity to charge us for bread we didn't request was the final straw. It's clear to me now: I've given this place enough chances. Food and service experience unfortunately was bad. The entrecôte I ordered was uncooked, it was raw and cold. Asked for help to have it more cooked and for another glass of wine but the waitress didn’t come back and forget us. Asked again on another waitress and ordered two glass of wine, one beer and one mojito. Waitress come back with three glass of wine and a mojito with a lot of way to much sugar that was unable to drink. No question during the hole dinner experience for more drinks and how food was tasting. The waitress still charged us for the entrecôte but after talking with the manager they didn’t charged it.
