The place is super cute, beautifully decorated with a great vibe, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. We ordered the sweet potato waffle dish (17,95€), which sounded amazing, but we were a bit disappointed. The hollandaise sauce was missing, and when I asked for it, the waitress seemed surprised and brought back something that looked more like a salad dressing than a proper thick hollandaise. The poached egg was also overcooked and not runny at all.
The dish still tasted nice overall, but for nearly 18€, it didn’t really feel worth the price, especially considering the portion size was quite small. We paid 40€ for two plates and a shared 0.5L bottle of water, and we honestly left still feeling hungry.
It’s a lovely spot with kind staff and a lot of potential, but I’d recommend either lowering the prices or making sure the quality and portions match the...

Add to this that despite ample staff you are called to go and get your own order from the counter rather than having it brought to your table.
You would think that this would mean your bill would reflect the self service but this couldn't be further from the truth, as we don't know if there was a 'tourist button' on the till but our bill for 2 coffees, 2 orange juices and a croissant came to over €16 when everywhere else we have been this has cost between €10 + €12.
Suffice to say nothing to recommend and we...
Read moreI came on here after a less than satisfactory experience to find that others had the same complaints. I also noticed that the woman who seemed to be the manager was behind the bar without a mask the whole time. Why would they take the time to respond to another reviewer in such a passive-aggressive way, saying that her description of the dueña not wearing a mask was wrong, when it is clear as day? An obvious lack of respect for the client and an inability to take legitimate criticism into account.
Also, the sub-par "Mexican" food is pricey. You're better off going around the corner to the real...
