Bombay Port Indian Food — Restaurant in Pollença

Not just any "Port in a storm"..... I like to think my curry taste buds are well tuned. When travelling especially in Europe its hard to get really good authentic Indian fayre. Having tried a few Indian / Bangladeshi restaurants specifically in Mallorca, apart from the (very sadly closed) legendary Basmati in Palma nowhere has been particularly remarkable. Although not at the level of Basmati, Bombay Port is without any doubt the very best of the rest. The setting is ideal and the ambiance and decorations are lovely. Talking specifically about my food I had the best meat samosas I have tasted in a very VERY long time, the dipping sauces ( specifically the spicy mint) were truly awesome. I had a main Chicken Tikka Hariali with coriander which was simply divine this came with a light mildly spicy sauce which worked well with the basmati rice and excellent peshawari naan. Mrs B had a prawn puri and then a variation of tikka massala and loved all of it. What a great find Bombay Port is, one of the owners told us they are from North of New Delhi as are the chefs, really Authentic...

Food is delicious. It is definitely worth the money. I was surprise that they don't have Indian chai on the menu. But I did what was written on the menu: "If something is not on the menu, ask the waiter". They made the chai for me and it tasted like I remember it from my trips to India. We paid 105 EUR for one starter, three main courses, six soft drinks / water, two mango lassies and one chai. For the details provided below, please keep in mind that we visited this place between 4 and 5pm on a weekday. Noise level and waiting time might differ in the evening. Edit: I read some of the negative reviews. Some complained about the missing spices / spice level. I understood that the people running this business are from Delhi area. This newly open Brand New Indian Restaurant has my heart ♥️ when I was in Spain last time with my family , we totally Loved the food from this restaurant, everything I’ve eaten from here has been mouth-watering , scrumptious & full of flavour. Mango chicken and Lamb Tikka Makkhan was finger licking experience.

Ambient is quite comfy and Manager of restaurant is Master of Customer service and knows how to Keep Customer Happy . Great curry house with good service.
