Bad food -First it took 45 minutes to get the appetizer- We order calamares a La Romana - simple staff , right? they were full of grease and hard .very bad -Second, when you seat at the table , they place the bread and alioli , aceitunas without asking if you wanted it, guess what!!! Lol THEY ARE NOT FREE —picaresca mallorquina- they charge you 4.50. Make sure check your bill . -Third , water if you pay 3 or 4 Euros for a battle of water make sure it is open in front of you - it may be a refill, another example of the picaresca española - still exist . Fourth-I ordered bacalao rebozado —- it was a piece of fishy floating on a sea of oil- and the vegetables seemed to be from a frozen bag … it was bad. In conclusion, the Restaurant is overpriced , it does deserve 2 starts and it needs to be better and be honest about the bread, water and be Professional and offer apologies for the delay. Espero que mejoren la próxima vez que venga dentro...
Read moreVery disappointing. We ate here last year and did not enjoy it but as it’s always recommended as a great place for fish we thought we would try it again. There was no flavour to it at all and the oil was totally overpowering and left me with indigestion all night. My wife had monkfish and prawn skewers which were also tasteless and overcooked. Absolutely no seasoning. The waiters were very busy and didn’t bother to ask us if we enjoyed our meal which would have given us a chance to explain our...
Read moreGood menu including great range of fresh fish dishes. Chose grilled game. See ed as two steaks, cooked well. Accompanied by mixed fresh vegetables - very good! Good range of starters and sweets. Shared their version of creme brulee which was a match for the Bistro Pierre back in UK . Good range of wines compliment the dishes on offer. Menu included a meal of the day offer. Setting is looking out over Pollenca Bay. Linen napkins - always a good start. Decor is contemporary and light. Everywhere front of house was clean. 4 of us ate here for a little over 20 euro per head including a bottle of house white ( very acceptable Spanish sauvignon blanc) and share sweets, starter, bottled table water and coffee. Two chose from me menu of the day, two from main menu. Service was efficient and not over fussy. What's...
