Imperial Bar & Tapas — Restaurant in Pollença

In a town like Port de Pollenca with so many great restaurants the difference is all in the decimal places between 4.0 and about 4.8 stars. Imperial Bar & Tapas is deserving of their rating and should probably have higher.

Portions are on the large size for tapas which was welcome, but perhaps meant we could order less, although wait, if we ordered less we would not have tasted as many great dishes!

The selection of croquettes is well worth ordering, the stand out being the ink squid from the selection of 4 on the platter (2 of each, 8 in total). The chicken was one of those dishes that were larger than expected which is good news as it was very good and enjoyed by everyone on the table. Garlic prawns awesome, potato bravas also great, was not a bad dish on the table.

The Food and especially the Tapas at Imperial Bar & Tapas are phenomenal! Honestly the best Tapas I ever had. Prices are really fair as well, especially the Mixed Tapas is real good value!

Service is perfect too. We had to sit inside at first because the outdoor-tables were taken but before we ordered, a table got freed up and was cleaned and made ready for us right away! The waiter was really friendly and even had the octopus-rings in the Mixed Tapas menu replaced with potatoes on our request.

The Restaurant offers a decent selection of drink which are served chilled. If you reorder the drinks they bring a new glas with new ice and a fresh lemon slice.

The place itself is really cozy and we'll designed. The food is served in a very pretty arrangement.

Visited the Imperial from previous reviews this evening! And I have to say they were right the food was absolutely lovely and such lovely staff very friendly! We decided on The white bate & The fish & chips for a change! Wasn't disappointed perfect in every way! I was very impressed how they cleaned each plate useing vinegar after being brought back from the kitchen. The desert wewhad a lemon pie which absolutely lovely.
