We sought this place out for dinner based as it had good reviews here and wished to get away from the tourist traps in the center of town.

The menu was simple and in Spanish. What arrived was slightly different than expected , but that's all part of the enjoyment. And the main thing it was all good, from hamburger for junior to a range of tapas dishes

We visited the nearby Roman bridge when we sought shelter from the threat of rain in this nice-looking café in a quiet corner of Pollença. The staff were very welcoming and the choice of food was also pretty good. We opted for the Mallorcan speciality ‘Pa amb Oli’ and a baguette with ham and cheese. The food was excellent in terms of flavour and presentation, but the absolute highlight was the dessert. There is a display of cakes where you should definitely take your pick. In the end it didn't even rain and we had a very nice day...

We've been coming to Pollensa for 12 years but only found El Perrito this summer. It's on the edge of town, a great café/bar on a leafy corner near the Pont Roma. We loved it! The food is excellent with lots of options, and the beer is served in big chilled glasses. Atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and the service we received from waitress Alexa was perfect. El Perrito may not be in the Placa Major, but it is the best café...
