Pollensa is an ancient town with narrow streets and an impressive central square, Plaça Major de Pollença, which is full of cafeterias, restaurants and bars. There you will see the iconic chapel of ""El Calvari"" Mirador del Calvari at the top of the hill, accessed via 365 steps (Calvari Steps) lined with cypress trees and fourteen three-meter high crosses – a nod to Jesus and the crucifixion of – and lead to a tiny chapel at the top. The charming medieval town has a landmark church, Nuestra Señora de los Angeles (Our Lady of the Angels) in the central square, which is the town's 18th-century church built on the site of a 13th-century church. Every Sunday the Plaza Mayor hosts the open market that attracts locals and tourists, operating from 08:00 to 13:30 consisting of 300 stalls. It's the perfect place for anyone looking to add a touch of Majorcan artwork...

In the heart of the one of the prettiest hilltop villages in Mallorca, this square is a meeting point for the locals, the hikers and the bikers. Surrounding the square are several cafes where you can get refreshments as well as access to toilet facilities.

The square is the starting place of the 365 Calvari steps that lead to the Calvari Chapel at the top of the hill. The steps are quite gentle and offer a stunning view of the village and the mountainous backdrop. After the the chapel, wander to its left and you can get a clear view of the whole village, the port, the sea and the Cape Formentor ...

Filled with local bringing family to spend their weekend. Lots of cafe, restaurant and eatery. Plenty of stores selling fresh made food, apparel, jewelry, accessories etc. There even a morning market place selling ham, cheese, fruits, vegetables, bakery etc. very interesting place to visit. For now not much tourist visiting this place. Very authentic Follow is for a gastronomic experience and discover the world finest in its purest form
