It was so good we went twice in two days if we’d been staying longer in port Pollenca we would’ve gone many more times. We arrived as walk-in to this hidden gem. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a table towards the back of the restaurant under a large, very efficient fan which was a little bit cool, before I had chance to mention this we were promptly asked if we’d like the fan to be turned down, absolute attention to detail on their part. The decor in the restaurant is beautiful and very tastefully done. It is also very light and immaculately clean as are the toilets. Our first visit was for an evening meal we ordered the scallops and cheese croquettes to share as a starter, they were both delicious. I had the ricotta and spinach ravioli as a main and my husband had the lamb ribs with new potatoes and vegetables', we were both blown away by how good the meals were. Our second visit was for lunch, we ordered the scallops again this time we had the ham croquettes, goats cheese salad and bread all to share. We both said the goats cheese salad and the bread was the best we have ever had. It was truly delicious. We were asked after lunch if we would like a desert we explained we had no room for a desert and I joked if I had a room I would have more bread it was that good 🤣 you won’t meet a more beautiful, smiley person as the lady that served us, she was fantastic and a chef who definitely knows exactly how to cook and equally as lovely as her. Before leaving I asked her to write down their names ( I’m a person of a certain age and would of forgotten by the time I got back to my sun bed😂) Their names are Gladys and Eluardo and they are from Cuba, I hope I can fathom out how to attach a photo of the note, it’s the little things that...
Read moreHi, I looked at previous reviews that said it’s a good place for paella. Well I can confirm google reviews are correct.
We was welcomed by the lovely Glady and Denia to the restaurant, and ordered our food. I ordered the paella..and as everyone knows, normally it has to be ordered for 2. Now we are introduced to Eduardo the chef, who gives an ok I will cook for 1.
Well the portion was enough for 2 , the paella was to die for, the whole experience was exceptional.
I loved the whole experience of the place, not Englishyfied, personal with an attention to detail. Little places like this make you want to return to Majorca, and to this place…and I can 100%...
Read moreWe loved the small, family-run feel of this restaurant but found the food to be hit and miss. The best thing we had were the peppers - they were cooked very well and were very moreish. We also enjoyed the paella - although the seafood was admittedly overcooked, it had good flavour, generous portions and texture with crispy rice. The other dishes were average: the grilled octopus, croquettes and salad - they were all a bit bland and lacking flavour. We also found a small fly in the salad, indicating the leaves could have been more...
