This restaurant was formerly Joker Bar which was much loved and often visited by my family over the many years we have been visiting Pollensa.
We knew that Joker had gone and we were worried that whatever had replaced it would not be up to the same standard.
We needn’t have.
We walked along the front on our first night and stopped to look at what was on offer. Harry, the owner, greeted us and spoke to us about the menu. My wife is vegan and he explained what was available. We decided to stay and eat.
My wife has the vegan burger, my sister and I had a smash burger, my dad had a pork fillet and my mum had a goats cheese salad. All were very nice and we left full. We had a few beers, a bottle of wine and a cocktail too.
Price wise it was really good value for the front. The view is great view and the service was impeccable. Harry chatted with us (after we’d finished) and explained how he had ended up in Pollensa and now always gives us a wave when we walk past. We will...
Read moreThis place was previously The Joker restaurant. We’ve eaten at many of the restaurants on the front for breakfast but this is by far the best and the price is good too.
I was looking for a decent full English and this wasn’t bad. The sausage was good, the bacon great if you like streaky bacon and the eggs too. I prefer chopped tomatoes but it’s hard to find anywhere that has chopped tomatoes.
We went again for breakfast the day after and the sausage had changed to something like a battered hotdog which was a shame. Perhaps they had run out of the others but I’m not sure.
We went again a few days later and spoke with the owner, I asked about the sausage and he said he’d read my review and changed the sausages back 🙂. Great guy and good to talk to. Thanks Harry 👍
We’ll be back next...

The patties were more like two big flat German meatballs that were barely seasoned. The salad was soggy and didn't add anything to the experience. At least the bun and the fried egg + bacon was decent. Fries were also pretty dry, which wasn't pleasant. I guess it's my own fault for ordering a burger at such a restaurant. My fiancé ordered vegetable lasagne and was also disappointed, pretty much the only vegetable in there was spinach apart from 1 olive and 1 piece of zucchini. The portion size also...
