Well where can I start? Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the simple beauty of the restaurant, every detail thought out and a comfortable place to dine. The service from the first moment was excellent, polite and friendly. The menu was also excellent, albeit my simple palate has yet to appreciate some of the ingredients, but I plumped for the Iberico pig cheeks. They were simply divine, I highly recommend. The grilled sea bass and the Sama Burger were also both enjoyed (not by me, I'm not greedy 😉) The dessert option was presented to us in a way I've never seen before. I'm not a dessert person, but the artistry and performance involved made me order a creme brulee, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I almost forgot to mention the very good wine selection too, great choices for all palates. I must say though, after all that we also ordered Irish Coffee's (a rare third course for us). The first didn't go down so well, but the second was perfect 😉 Wonderful experience and I highly recommend anyone to visit Sama, such a wonderful dining experience! Thank you from Matt,...
Read moreAfter reading the great reviews we decided to stop by for dinner and had high expectations.
Firstly, the place looks nice, the staff is friendly and professional, waiting times are short, the service is Overall very good.
The menu is small with a good mix of local and international cuisine, it was hard to decide.
We chose the Camembert bruscetta with figs, the chefs prawns for starters. Unfortunately the praws were burned. The fig sauce on the bruscetta was so dominant that it spoiled the taste. So the starters could be improved, presentation was nice but taste was lacking.
For main course we chose the prawn pasta and piglet mallorquin. The prawns were slighty fishy in taste, the pasta sauce watery, we didnt finish it.
The piglet was good, slow cooked soft and all. However the mushrooms were tasteless and the truffle was only on the menu, not in the dish.
Our expectations were not met...
Read more8 friends here on holiday, all of us foodies. Chanced on Sama when out looking for somewhere to have dinner. Had a brilliant evening. Food was outstanding for every one of us and we all had a different main course and also desserts. Not a single failure among the dishes. The chat with the main guy serving us and indeed all of the staff, including those in the kitchen who came out to join in the hilarity, was warm friendly and very funny. Totally made our evening, and the staff had a great time too! All of us loved the experience and highly recommend this restaurant for quality of the food drink and the wonderful attention and service provided by the whole staff. We will be eating in here on our next visit that for sure. See you next...
