A New Favourite! Worth the Trip from Alcúdia. ​Acting on a glowing recommendation from a friend who declared Tirano the best spot in Port Pollença, my wife, Sara, and I made the short trip over from our home in Alcúdia last night to see if it lived up to the hype. I am delighted to say that it absolutely did. ​Tirano is beautifully situated on a charming pedestrianised street, just one road back from the seafront. The area has a wonderful, bustling atmosphere with lots of restaurants, and Tirano fits in perfectly. We were immediately greeted by a friendly member of staff who showed us to a lovely table for two outside, and our drinks order was taken promptly. ​While the entire menu looked fantastic, we came with a mission: to try the legendary smash burgers. I opted for the standard double with the addition of some fiery jalapeños, and my wife chose the Criolla burger. We also ordered sides of the plantain chips and a fresh coleslaw salad. ​I can honestly say it was the best smash burger I have ever eaten. It was cooked to perfection, with all those delicious, gnarly, crispy bits on the outside, while remaining incredibly juicy and flavourful inside. My wife was in complete agreement about her Criolla burger. The plantain chips were also a revelation – crispy, savoury, and utterly addictive. I would highly recommend them to anyone visiting. ​The combination of amazing food, friendly and attentive staff, and a lovely, relaxed atmosphere makes Tirano a standout. Burgers are my favourite food and the clasico burger we ordered was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Super authentic smash burgers that were very tasty. The other food options are also very good. We had the pulled pork tacos and satay chicken, both of which we enjoyed greatly, our daughter included.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, they made it easy to reserve a table when we walked by earlier in the day and were great during the meal.

The only feedback I would give them is we would have liked to have had better baby changing facilities. There is no changing table in the toilet and the light runs on a timer. The light turned off while my wife was changing our daughter which made for a bit of a stressful change!

Stopped by Tierano Smash Burger and was seriously impressed — juicy, perfectly smashed patties with great flavour and just the right crisp on the edges. The toppings were fresh, fries were spot on, and everything came out piping hot. So easy and moreish to eat, and although it’s a small place tucked away on a side street just behind the main front of Port de Pollença, it’s absolutely worth finding. Staff were friendly and the vibe was relaxed but lively. And don’t miss out on the dessert pancake with dulce de leche — absolute perfection to finish...
