Not cheap at €40 for a menu del dia but I gave it a try. Service was indifferent as I was left waiting ages to see a menu while staff passed by my table. I've had better Sopa de pescados which was basically a watery broth of boiled crab bones. The Grilled Asturian fish mixto was also disappointing as some fish was still raw so I couldn't eat it and the miserly few chips on the plate were cold. The fish that was edible was poorly prepped by the chef as it was full of bones . For a restaurant charging this type of money it's not good enough for the waiter to say thanks for letting us know. No water was offered despite it being part of menu, having waited an eternity to receive my bill the waiter offered to give me a bottle of water as compensation as I was leaving. There are better and far cheaper places to eat than this place in Ribadesella

Fresh and delicious food , all plates were made with love. 1/2 of menu doesn’t have any price, so final check will be surprise, because never know what you gonna pay. Cidreria offers local cider with entertaining served or with machine. The secret of the cider : You have to drink cider in shots! One serve - one sip. Great view of the port from terrace. Poor quality of the service, when you feel treated as tourist

Fuimos anoche a comer dos personas y no entendimos muy bien la política de esta empresa. Partiendo de la base de que habíamos llamado para reservar porque venimos de fuera y cuando llegamos, misteriosamente la reserva no existía... algo que evidentemente no tiene sentido porque viniendo de turismo procuro tener reserva de todo... a pesar de lo cual, nos sentaron. Durante la cena, a la mesa que teníamos al lado (no es por nada, pero no se dejó ni la mitad de dinero que nosotros) iban a atenderla constantemente, simplemente porque eran conocidos del restaurante. Sin embargo, mi acompañante pidió unas zamburiñas, y desde que se lo sirvieron a él hasta que me trajeron a mi el bogavante, transcurrieron unos 25 minutos o más. En un restaurante con esos precios y con esa calidad de comida no se debería permitir ni la diferencia de trato, ni mucho menos el desorden a la hora de traer la comida a los comensales de forma homogénea... Si estáis faltos de personal, contratad a más, porque ayer el restaurante estaba lleno y el servicio era escaso. La comida muy rica, por eso le doy las 2 estrellas.

I don’t usual write reviews but this restaurant was so terrible I feel I have a moral obligation to warn others to avoid.

Service was way below average, the food was mediocre at best, some of the food arrived cold, we sent it back but unfortunately still came back cold. At this stage it was getting late so we told them to forget the dish as we did not want it any longer. Shamefully when the bill came they still charged us for the cold food which was not fit for purpose and we did not eat.

A restaurant to avoid and rather try the other good restaurants in Ribadesella that actually delivery good...

Went with the intention of having lobster. I asked the cost and was shown the smallest they had and was advised it would be around 100 Euro (120 per kg) I ended up having the Duroc ribs that were tasty but definitely not twice cooked and very little meat. My wife had the John Dory which was very good and cooked very well. When presented with the bill I noticed COTO DE HAYAS JOVEN 10,00 was added to the bill.
