Bar Alegria ronda — Restaurant in Ronda

In Ronda for the day & called in Bar Algeria for a drink. Obviously a Sports Bar with an early kick off Athletic Club vs Celta Vigo game showing. The guy who was presumably the owner was very friendly as was the girl who was taking the food orders & bringing the drinks. Cruz Campo was the draft beer & €4 for a 400ml glass. No complaints from my wife about the dry white wine. Chicken wings, Stuffed mushroom, goats cheese with jam & croquetas tapas portions were good. The patatas bravas were definitely not as expected when they turned out to be a portion of fries with three thin but tasty & salty slices of ham/bacon on them. There are multiple TVs in the bar & the owner put a couple of English Premier League games on. The main TV had the Las Palmas vs Real Madrid game on which generated plenty enthusiasm in the bar. Ronda may be a tourist destination, but this restaurant was full of locals. There were people who stopped by while walking his dog, friends drinking drinks from noon, and various other ways to enjoy themselves.

Fantastic place. Great range of tapas. The food is good quality and very reasonably priced. Massive 4k tv on the back wall and a few smaller ones dotted around.
