This hotel is well positioned and the art in the rooms is very interesting but we booked this hotel because it it supposed to have a lovely roof terrace, indeed it appears that every advertisement for the hotel leads with photos of this. It was therefore disappointing that the roof terrace was closed and when we queried this there was absolutely no apology for this. Indeed we were told that we should consider ourselves lucky that we had rooms that looked out onto the street not ones that looked inwards onto other parts of the hotel! The hotel’s website states that the roof terrace is only open in Spring and Summer but we arrived after the official start of Spring and it is a particularly warm Spring in that region of Spain. The hotel receptionist stated that the roof terrace is only open in Summer. I think the hotel needs to amend its website and encourage staff to at least be apologetic rather than effectively respond “well, what do you want me to do, at least you...
Read moreBoth me and my partner are from the luxury hotel industry and wanted a night away to break up our time in Spain. We found the room on booking.com but then booked directly so that the hotel doesn't have to pay the outrageous 20% commission.
The hotel is perfectly situated to the town centre, the room was a great size, with huge super king bed, with AC, huge bathroom and 2 small balcony's overlooking the charming streets of Ronda. The windows are double glazed so it's nice and quite even though you are in the hustle and bustle of it all. The staff are super helpful and even helped us get reservations at Tragata one of the best places to dine in the city, a service that's more relatable to a 4/5 star property. Very impressive!
Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a mini city break!

There were two large windows with shutters that opened, and Juliette balconies, letting in lots of light. The only thing we missed having was a small fridge, for drinks. Breakfast was included, in a tiny cafe attached to the front lobby, which opened at 8am. The food was okay, but the coffee was awful. Luckily, there are several other cafes and bistros just around the corner behind the hotel, where you can enjoy all kinds of breakfast or brunch. We would stay...
