During our visit, we noticed that Hong Kong was surprisingly quiet compared to the bustling ambience of neighbouring establishments. Although our order was taken promptly, we encountered a slight inconvenience as our dishes were served in a staggered manner, resulting in a delay of approximately 10 minutes from the first dish arriving to the last, and complete on the table & where by we could start our meal, the absence of table heaters & food quickly cooling made that situation less than ideal. To summarise the food ...
• The sweet and sour chicken balls were delightful.
• The Singapore fried noodles were very nice, although not served with rice noodles as they should be.
• The Chicken Chow Mein was satisfactory but lacked sufficient chicken.
• The 'Special Hong Kong Chicken' was very disappointing being excessively salty and inedible, as was the egg fried rice.
I attempted to engage in a conversation with the courteous Chinese waiter regarding the excessive saltiness of the meal, rendering it unpalatable. However, my efforts were met with a persistent, broad smile, who repeatedly uttered the phrase "yes sauce" without demonstrating any comprehension of my grievance.
We were mildly disappointed to find that the restaurant did not offer any of the usual frills, such as prawn crackers at the beginning of the meal or baileys at the end. Additionally, we later noticed that we were charged more than the menu prices, which are already higher end for Spain.
Not a good experience, sadly, and an overall experience of 2/5 rating was well considered & is very fair in...
Read morePlease don’t ever eat here. Can’t believe the reviews on here, the food was so bland, one of the worst I’ve ever eaten. Didn’t eat the black bean and they only took half the price off the bill, I refused to pay for the dish, manager came over eating said fish saying it tasted great 😂 need to listen to feedback and improve. Then whilst paying started to insult me so ended up chucking the money on the...
