Travelling with a baby while feeling unwell, we urgently left our hotel just to find somewhere to buy essentials like water. When we reached this bar, the outside area was absolutely packed, and we couldn’t even get to the door. We politely asked if we could just step inside for a moment to make a quick purchase and leave but the staff member rudely snapped “NO!” and walked away without a second thought.

I was shocked and deeply hurt. The way we were treated was cold, dismissive, and completely unnecessary. It’s hard not to feel that this was racially motivated. I’ve never in my life experienced such blatant disrespect and lack of basic human decency. We weren’t asking for much, just a bottle of water for our baby.

To be refused help so abruptly in that situation was disgraceful. Absolutely...

Staff regularly come around with snacks such as crisps, meat crackers, nuts, etc.

Not a very warm welcome if you are British or a holiday guest. They only seem to favour the "locals".... You can order a spirit and get a standard measure or you can be "local" and have the whole bottle left on your table.
