Es Cantó — Restaurant in Sóller

Watched Spain rightly beat Germany here in 24 euros. Was fantastic atmosphere, cheap beer, great crazy Spanish crowd, real family gathering. We started chatting to a lovely lady called Sonia, turns out she was the owner and mother of grandmother of nearly all the staff, she was lovely, bought us a round of drinks as well. Nice bar that seems to be managed by a group of young local guys. Classic concept that unfortunately has become rare. Seems authentic. Good service. Very good alternative to these uselessly expensive uppish restaurants that you'll easily find all around. If you just want a drink a coffee or a sandwich and "descanzar un poco" don't look for...

We first visited this bar in 2017. It is our 4th visit to Port de Soller and this is our favourite place. Tucked away up a back street so don't come for the views. However, it is a local bar with a great atmosphere, cheap but good beer, excellent tapas and brilliant staff....
