La Sal — Restaurant in Sóller

Our experience was influenced by a very long wait for the food, more than 45min. The staff was nice and also very busy despite the fact the restaurant wasn’t yet in full capacity.

Tacos were filled with quite a lot of avocado and cream paste. So the first bites are just the tortilla with the paste and no proper substance which I didnt find really tasteful. Salad with palm of hearts was pretty basic and quite a small portion.

Hummus was good and a very decent portion and was served with relatively small amout of pita bread. Getting an extra pita bread took 25min and was brought with the main course so was kind of pointless at that time.

I hope that our experience was a rare one and it was simply just not...

We went to La Sal today only wanting to stop for a drink. Our server has no issue with this and was very welcoming he even offered us to use the facilities before being sure if we would even buy from them. After seeing the menu we decided to get a couple of starters to share. The squid rings were very fresh and perfectly cooked with a gorgeous lemon sauce. There was no alcohol free cocktails on the menu but our server was very accommodating and offered to make one for me, which was the nicest mojito I have ever had. The place obviously attracts people with their beautiful plates and seating but I‘ve had much better and authentic food in the neighbouring restaurants along the beach. The Tagliatelle with Clamps was lovely, although I felt like there was more pasta on the plate than clamps. But the pasta tasted very good nonetheless. The fried baby squid however, slightly disappointed, more deep-fried though than any taste of the squid. Felt like I was eating overfried crisps. The service was very friendly and accommodating.
