Suculenta Port de Sóller — Restaurant in Sóller

We booked our rehearsal dinner for our wedding months in advance at Suculenta. Per our emails and contract we were promised the rooftop area for our 25 guests. 3 weeks before our dinner we received an email from their management requesting that we change areas to the bottom floor. We respectfully declined and told them that we wanted to proceed with our original agreement and plan of having dinner on the rooftop. They agreed and said it would not be a problem and that we would have to share the rooftop area which wasn’t an issue with us.

Upon arrival the staff informed us we wouldn’t have the rooftop and that a larger wedding is occupying the entire area and that we would be in the lower level by the parking lot. We were incredibly frustrated by this and spoke with two different managers, Salvador and Pamela. We showed the emails and explained everything, and they even went back to their office to print out the entire email chain. We showed them specifically where we refused to be seated down below and after +30 min of arguing they made a call to their General Manager “Alejandro” who agreed to give us a 50% (five - zero) discount. This agreement was a handshake in front of multiple members of our party and that we would be issued the refund the following day.

We waited two days before reaching out and we received an email reply from another “Manager” Claudia who said we wouldn’t be getting refund because she didn’t see a “reason to give a refund”. They also kept trying to say there was a “translation” issue and misunderstanding, but there wasn’t. Their English is fine and we also have multiple Spanish speaking members of our party.

If you are planning an event PLEASE DO NOT trust Suculenta to deliver on any promises or agreements, even if they are in writing. They prey on tourists and are completely fine...

Restaurant Suculenta really has overachieved all our expectations.

Atmosphere: We really liked the atmosphere. The terrace is in the middle of the Marina and gives an amazing ambiance. The interior is tasteful and very clean.

Service: The service is on a high level. The people are smiling, kind, and very helpful. We were served by Matteo, who showed his customer-focused attitude, making sure we enjoyed every detail of the evening.

Food: What can we say… we were simply blown away. We started with bread and aioli, which was already overwhelming. Then our main courses arrived: the vegetarian leeks were prepared with creativity and care — my wife simply loved them — while I enjoyed the slow-cooked meat, which was very flavorful. And then came the grand finale: a Lemon Brûlée Tart with Berry Ice Cream, both amazingly tasteful and beautifully creative. It was the perfect ending to an exceptional meal.

Price: The prices of the dishes are reasonable, especially considering the quality and experience. Compared to other Mallorca-based restaurants, we should have eaten here multiple times.

If there was a six-star option, they would receive a convincing six stars from...

Stunning setting brilliant service and fantastic food.. just perfect.

Went once and returned 3 times more that week it was so special. We were looked after really well and the surroundings in the mouth of the harbour surrounded by mountains and unbelievable boats was spectacular.

Food choices were varied and first class we tended to have steaks which could be ordered by weight and cooked to your liking. But in addition they bring a hot plate so you can add more sear if your sharing a larger portion and one person prefers more cooking time. Flavours were mouthwatering.. see images. Sides were all really good and reasonably priced.

Drinks were fabulous.. great cocktails especially loved their Sangria but champers or wine were really well priced. Just perfect .. felt really pampered.
