Bar cafe right next to the Casa de Conchas, so you cannot ask for a more atmospheric or historic location - really magical. And so, they don't have to try hard to keep clients 😅 they opened half an hour late, and there was no table service until much much later. Thankfully we had two local ladies at the table next to us that explained that you have to order inside and only much later a waiter comes on service. We ordered a bottle of wine and some tapas inside and had it outside and it was lovely! Best dining experience that I have had in all of Europe. The helpful, friendly, and attentive waitstaff got my group of four in during peak tourist season without a reservation. I got the menu del dia, my friends got a variety of steaks. All were delicious and cooked to perfection. The house vino tinto has the typical fruity and sweet notes of this region, but had a bit more flavor than most. Wonderful quiet, classy, and inviting environment with air conditioning that made this a dining experience I will remember for years to come. We visited twice for tapas during our Christmas stay, lunch and early evening. Both visits were fantastic. We tried lots of local specialities, things we had never tasted before and loved every moment. It gets really busy with locals, families, students, and a few tourists. The staff are friendly, welcoming and service is great. How they remember what everyone has had is amazing. The drinks pours are generous and the atmosphere is fun. The prices are incredible too. The absolute must go place for local flavours and to try out your Spanish....
