The Irish Theatre — Restaurant in Salamanca

Well, being first time in Salamanca and the very first bar I had coffee did not go well..

Here I share with you the details. It is not about the stuff, it is about the people “more” in charge to make differences.

The price on the menu was different than what we were charged on the paper. When we asked he says prices has changed but not on the menu yet. As costumer, I gave my feedback and I said this is not right, even though it is small difference (60 cent). Long story in short, he got mad and brought the money back with super aggressive attitude!

At the end, he seemed calmer but it was not I expected at all! we were shocked!

Be careful what you order and how much they charge...

I’ve been to this karaoke place several times, and every time I try to sing a song in Spanish, they completely ignore my request. Meanwhile, English songs get played instantly, especially if you’re singing something mainstream. It feels like they cater only to English-speaking customers and dismiss anyone who wants to sing in another language — especially Spanish.

This isn’t just about music preferences. It’s about inclusion and respect. If you advertise that it’s open karaoke, everyone’s voice should matter — not just the ones singing in English. Super disappointed and won’t be...

Sadly was let down by this place today. We stopped in for a Guinness and were really excited about an Irish bar. The disappointment was with the young female bartender. She was unfriendly at best. We're always think of an Irish bar as having friendly upbeat staff. She was not. We were being friendly and she was rather dismissive.
