Where to begin? As someone who has frequented food buffets, especially Asian buffets, this is unfortunately the worst I've been to. The service was fine, the staff were friendly enough, though there was little in terms of greetings or instructions. On first glance the food looked fine. After that you begin to see the issues. One section of the buffet is just piles of raw meat, seafood, shellfish, chicken etc, all just kind of piled in trays together. The idea is you pick it and take it to be cooked. However the food looked like it had been there a while, and there was nothing in terms of ice, refrigeration, or really anything to cool it. In Spanish heat that's obviously less than ideal. We avoided that area completely. The rest of the food wasn't much better. Every single thing I tried was stale, bland and chewy. The rice was undercooked, the breaded crab claws were like cardboard and I barely tried the sushi because after one of them I felt sick. I was put off my food after eating very little and it's the first time in a long time I've left that much on my plate, but I couldn't physically make myself eat any more. I watched them refill the food area at one point and they literally just poured the new food over the old, leaving the old, stale food at the bottom to get older and staler. Our drinks were ok but it all just came in cans, which was disappointing considering the price. I went to the pudding aisle hoping for some redemption but it was like they'd emptied a bag of children's candy on the side. I didn't even bother. We weren't expecting much from the place, especially as it was under €20, but we still felt let down. It seemed fairly popular so maybe we were just unlucky, but I doubt it. The second we left I began to feel ill, which lasted well into the morning of the next day. I wasn't physically ill but it definitely knocked some energy out of me. If you value your health I'd personally recommend avoiding the place. If you don't... I'd still avoid it. There's better...
Read moreMe and my partner wanted to try some Asian cuisine while on our holidays and honestly this is the worst place I ever eaten at, I never even write reviews but I was just appalled after my experience here.
The food was just gross fried foods probably cooked from frozen are all chewy because they’ve been left there for days probably. They have raw food just sitting out waiting to be cooked by a chef which is a cool concept but it just made me feel weird about bacteria and cross contamination possibilities. The sushi was also not fresh, I could only eat the rice but i could tell it was a couple of days old.
We also came in at 5pm but were charged night time prices which was horrifically expensive considering the abysmal quality of the food.
The dessert was a joke, their ice cream came in tiny tubs in a freezer and they had freezer burn which was not nice at all. Their toppings were popcorn and jelly sweets? And they had chocolate moose’s and other desserts sitting in a fridge probably also for days.
One thing I can say is that the staff and the servers were lovely, accommodating and really nice, I wouldn’t blame the quality of the food on them at all as these things are out of their control. But despite that it’s not even worth coming here even if the staff are nice just because how awful the food is.
Ruined a good night for us as we had to go back to the hotel because my partner was feeling sick after the food that we paid 50 euro, our most expensive dinner so far on our holiday and the worst. Please...
Read moreVery limited choice of food available. They have 2 counters of raw food which you can pick what you like from and then have the chefs cook it for you, right in front of you, which I suppose is a nice idea. However, raw food sitting out in the open uncovered is not safe and poses all sorts of cross contamination risks.
So two units of raw food, then they only had one unit of cooked food, which was very limited choice. They had no stations of just sauces to choose from e.g. curry, satay, sweet and sour etc. so we had to spoon out curry sauce from the chicken curry dish in order to have some sauce.
They’re labels for which food is which is very poor and misleading, some containers with no corresponding label to indicate what food is being served. We thought we had picked up crispy chicken pieces and turned out when we bit in that it was actually crab… could have been very dangerous.
Nonetheless we ended up having chicken curry and egg fried rice with some chips and prawn crackers. So a very...
