I grew up as a kid in pubs, and two of them were named The Fox & Hounds. So i was looking forward to sampling a lunch at a name that brings back lots of memories - The Fox & Hounds. Although Indian owned with a strong slant towards Indian food, their menu is extensive to cover ALL tastes and I found the menu one of the best designed menus I’ve seen. This of course makes it so difficult to satiate your hunger but given that they are Indian owned I had to have something off their Curry section. I chose some papadums followed by Chicken dopiaza, a garlic naan and basmati rice... all amazing. The papadums were accompanied by very tasty dips, yum. Before I knew it my mains turned up, and the curry ,rice and naan were a treat. Now I have to roll myself home. Staff were a little bit unhelpful. Especially after I sent my undercooked steak back. It came back then overcooked and was tough and inedible. I spoke worth a manager about this and was treated extremely well and politely was offered another steak. was offered another meal. was offered everything. the whole meal was taken off the bill even though I had eaten the veg. I expected to pay something for it. I and the meal were treated extremely fairly ,politely and correctly.
