Robin Hood 9/10 Facilities 7/10 Place was clean no food on floors and tables were clean as-well. But the bathroom stank of urine when you walked near it. Thee is also a claw machine that is very fun to use.
Food 10/10 Food was very nice, the fish was excellent and the chips were fantastic. The fish tasted fresh and was wrapped in a newspaper like material to remove the grease. The fish and chips came with a slice of buttered bread on top of the newspaper like material with a lemon.
Service 5/10 Staff was not very nice as a 3 year old in my family had said hi smiling to the waiter when he was at the table and the waiter said a very muffled hi while looking at the table. However the food only took 15 minutes to arrive.
Atmosphere 9/10 Place was beside a busy road and the speakers were playing quite loud, however the plastic curtains stopped the road noise. The air conditioning was very nice and cooled us down in the hot weather.
Price 9/10 Fish and chips cost €15 and was a good sized portion on the adults menu. For the price the menu was at a really reasonable price and would recommend it.
Recommendations I would recommend to bring €2, because there is a claw machine that doesn’t drop the item immediately after grabbing it. This machine is a play until you win, and if you lose 10 times you get your money back. Aim to get the water gun or some other big prize as it is very easy to win. It is quite full so I would recommend to book in advance so you have your...
Read moreThe staff member wasn’t very nice, we didn’t get a drinks menu so I was unsure as to what to drink but the guy has come over and said what do you want to drink. When I asked which ciders they had, the guy said what they had and we agreed on one, which was nice and helpful but then when my partner ordered his drink the guy made a rude comment about my choice of drink and how my partners was much better (doesn’t sound bad, I know but I’m not going to say what the actual comment was but this was the jist of it) I normally would take it in a jokey way but you could tell this fella was just fed up and he meant his comment. We then ordered our food, they didn’t have what I wanted as a starter, which is fine, not a problem at all but instead of letting me look at the menu again he listed off extremely quickly and I felt like I had to make a really quick decision. Our starters were actually lovely, no problems with them but when our mains came, mine was over done and dry but oily at the same time, I couldn’t eat it as it made me feel sick. My partners food wasn’t bad but wasn’t good (in his words) I felt like I couldn’t say anything as the guy serving us was just not very nice, his customer service just wasn’t it. I work in a similar busy environment with customers but I’d never make them feel the way we were made to feel while...
Read moreWe stayed in a hotel across the road from the robin hood, we went over for a drink on our first night and it became our regular for the week. It's a British family run pub with Spanish waiting staff who mostly have good English. We went over to watch F1 racing as they have several TVs for sports and the atmosphere was brilliant and in the evening they have entertainment on. We had the food several times and and it was delicious and they were very accommodating with adapting any meal for my daughter who has sensory issues with food textures. The owners are always there to help if there is a language barrier when trying to order something slightly different to how it's meant to be. Also the pizzas are freshly made to order and very delicious. We will definitely be returning if/when we go on holiday again. The only issue is that the menus don't have dietary requirements on the menu like in the UK but none of the Spanish food places do so be aware to remember to state your allergies to them before ordering as the chocolate brownie contains nut which was...
