Best meal out we’ve had. Ever! A hidden gem!

We were wandering around Salou looking for somewhere nice to eat when we saw this lovely little place and decided to try it out. It had a lovely atmosphere, kind of rustic with fairy lights all around. It was a small menu and we weren’t sure exactly what we were ordering but took the guidance of the lovely waitress. It came and we were blown away. A gas lit hot plate was brought to the table. A selection of raw meats and vegetables for us to cook at the table. It was such a great experience. It came with a big bowl of fresh chips, a beautiful dressed salad and a selection of sauces. The staff were excellent. Really lovely. We can’t recommend this place enough. There’s a lot of places to eat in the area but none as good as Poc a Poc. Upon arrival it was full and they couldn’t squeeze in a table of 6 but then we spoke to the owner and he said 30 mins wait and so we popped over the road for a drink whilst we were waiting and he would shout us over. After 30 mins, we were gestured to go back. Photos on maps are slightly outdated of the menu and it is quite small but the portions were anything but. Amazing portion sizes and fantastic, tasty food! Owner was very accommodating and chatty and the restaurant despite being a tad on the small size, had a beautiful aesthetic. Highly recommend, but be aware it is quite hot once sat down so dress...

We loved it here, super friendly staff, fantastic food and a great atmosphere. They only do a short menu, but the food they do is excellent. We had the ribs and the kebab, both were superb. You also get a beautiful salad with your main. Fantastic place.

I have one piece of advice, if you visit and are a non smoker, ask to sit at the bottom end of the restaurant. We were near the door and just to the right of the door is the smoking part. Obviously they are doing nothing wrong but the smoke blew down and across our table which, being non smokers, we find very selfish.

Definitely go to this restaurant but ask to sit as far away from the smoking area...
