Recently, I visited a restaurant that left me with exceptionally positive impressions. This cozy corner of gastronomic delight is managed by an owner who pays special attention to every aspect of his work. This is evident both in the taste of the dishes and in the carefully selected drinks.
Cuisine The restaurant's menu pleasantly surprised me with its balance. There are no excesses here, but every item on the menu is meticulously thought out and incredibly flavorful. The dishes are prepared using fresh ingredients, which gives them a special richness and aroma. Attention to detail and the pursuit of perfection in every dish make this restaurant a true find for gourmets.
Atmosphere The owner of the restaurant plays a key role in creating the establishment's unique atmosphere. His small stories about the food and drinks are not only informative but also add a special charm and coziness. The simplicity of the setting does not detract from the place's merits; on the contrary, it emphasizes its sincerity and warmth.
Conclusion This restaurant is the perfect place for those who appreciate delicious and high-quality food in a relaxed setting. Thanks to the owner's attentive attitude towards every guest and his passion for his craft, visiting this establishment becomes not just a dinner but a true gastronomic journey. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy delicious food and a...
Read moreI feel like we stumbled into the best kept secret in Maspalomas. Fortu & Anto's delightful "home" of a restaurant was just opposite our hotel, so we ventured in one night for dinner.
The pizza here was probably some of the best I have ever eaten in my life. As were the pastas -- HIGHLY recommend both the Penne Arrabiata and the pizza diavolo.
We had to go back a second time before we came home, and it was even more of a joy the second time. We got a chance to talk to the owners, Fortu & Anto (a couple from Italy) and discover the secret to the truly amazing pizza dough -- Fortu had been a master bread maker in Italy for many years.
Oh, and the surprise bruscetta to start was so simple and out of this world heavenly.
The joy they have for taking care of their guests like family was much appreciated, as was the homemade limoncello and phenomenal desert that they call "Orgasmus" (or something like that).
And the prices are too low for the quality of this food ....! Check it out before they realize they need to raise their prices ...!
I can't recommend this...
Read moreA great little restaurant, came here based on the reviews and it lived up to them. Restaurant is off the main street in an apartment complex, easy to miss but a little gem. We got complimentary bruschetta as a starter. Delicious fresh tomato and herb and loads of olive oil. The kids are at that fussy stage, they made a beautiful tomato based sauce and penne for them which they both loved. We had great pizzas, best I have had in a long time. Highly recommend the Valtenna. After paying the bill we both got a shot of limoncello. The owner came out and talked with us for a bit and made time to talk to both children which was very nice. He made a deal with one of the kids that if he ate all his pasta he would get a lollipop. It is these small things that make a...
