Jan's Bar is by far the best little hole in the wall I've come across. Jan is lovely, all smiles, and makes you feel right at home. I don't go out for the loud music and crowds; I go out for the good conversation, cold beer, rugby on the television and live music. Not only was the salad and grilled fish delicious, the prices had me thinking Jan did her math wrong but nope, she was right on the nose. My all time favourite place to eat and have a few drinks in the Canaries. Not only for the fabulous and friendly attentive hosts but because they have such great food. There's something for everyone and some great British classics. Chips with Cheese and Curry Sauce, Full English Breakfast with Tattie Scones and A beautiful flavour packed with chicken baguette to name but just a few of my favourites.
