Last evening, my wife and I walked from San Agustin along the beach boulevard towards Playa del Ingles, and we wanted to go to eat by the sea. We got a nice table for two by the window. We decided to order pizzas and a starter salad for both, as well as a bottle of Italian red wine and water. The Caesar salad was really good, but the only Italian wine on the red wine list turned out to be a red sparkling wine, which in itself was ok, but didn't meet its purpose. We were hungry after a long day, we waited for authentic pizzas with a crispy well-raised base. We ended up with a factory-made "cardboard box" with tasteless tomato sauce and fillings splashed on it. When we asked the waiter matter-of-factly how to prepare the pizza base, he was annoyed and couldn't take feedback. In the end, the bill was thrown on the table like a bone to a dog, so this restaurant won't be on our...
Read moreOnly good thing about this place is one of the waiters who was friendly. As to others no one bothered to come check if the food was okay. My drink was empty for 15mins and when i tried to get their attention i was blanked. As to the food, the chicken (74) came cold, number 19 prawns were ok. Steak number 90 was 5/10 definitely not worth the price. Steak with diana sauce number 81 was 2/10 at a push. I asked for a salad and received rice and chips. Chips were full of oil, steak was very average and the sauce tasted like a bottle of mustard was poured into it ( suppose to be a creamy mushroom sauce with a hint of mustard). As to the entertainment the live show was shocking it was mostly songs played from the speakers very loudly ( difficult to speak over) with someone playing the guitar in back. Definitely wouldn’t recommend and we will not be...
Read moreI came here for a drink with friends for our last night in Gran Canaria, definitely this is the busiest restaurant of CC Tropical and the reason of this is because they have shows every days at 9 pm in fact when we were there we assist a show where was an artist called Gustavo Jackson that did a show of 30 minutes imitating and dancing as the famous Michael Jackson and I can tell you that not only the look was so similar but also the way he danced. He does 2 shows per week, one on Monday and another on Thursday. By the way there are other artist as well in the other days of the week and I can tell you is worthy to go once and enjoy the night show and the dance time that starts straight after the show. P. S. In this place they serve italian food and is open also to people that want...
