West End Restaurant - Burguers and Steakhouse in Maspalomas — Restaurant in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

Kris & his team definitely deserve over 5 stars! Recommended to book a reservation as this is so popular we were lucky to get a seat the first night! Absolutely loved this restaurant from start to finish. The use of QR code menu, with such a simplistic layout makes it so easy to order, great options to either make your own burger or choose a chef favourite. Not too many overbearing dish choices like most restaurants nearby but just enough to have the perfect amount of diversified options.

We've been all over Gran Ganaria in the last 6 days and this was by far the best food we have had to eat, so much so that 10 minutes in, we had already decided to have dinner here again the next night for a birthday celebration instead of a "top steak house" originally chosen nearby. The staff wished me happy birthday, brought out the yummiest chocolate fondue cake with candles and a bottle of prosecco prepared for the occasion and we can't thank them enough for the service and food. Huge thank you to the team here we lost the list with all the names but you know who you are 😁😂 Definitely a must have when you're in the area do not miss...

Researched this place and after seeing the good reviews decided to try it to celebrate our 6th anniversary….place looks very nice..staff were cordial we ordered drinks and starters…but upon mentioning my shellfish allergy we were told by the waitress that we could not have any starters as both the seafood, chicken and tequenos are all fried in the same deep fryer…that the kitchen was “todo contaminado” because they don’t use different benches, fryers , pots or pans for any food, I struggle to understand how any restaurant these days does not understand the negligence to a customer’s health and in my case my life…

We weren’t even asked about my or any allergy by our server.. my girlfriend is the one who has the habit of doing so right after we finish ordering , so had she not mentioned the server would have put the order through…and who knows what could have happened to me..

I understand the kitchen size constraints in order to accommodate a variety of foods to offer but you don’t simply ignore the dangers of cross contamination, you only serve what you can...

Exceptional in every way - burgers, staff! We visited 3 times over the 6 days we were staying in Taurito. The veggie burger is THE BEST veggie burger i have ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot) it is completely flawless. It is so very rare to find a restaurant that specialises in steak and burgers put as much effort in to their veggie option, it was crispy, a bit spicy, mouthwatering good. It's a solid 10/10. We also tried the Angus burger, panko breaded chicken and fish burger. All were outstanding in quality and flavour. The patty can be cooked to your liking. With build your own burger being a highlight... We did book and each time the table was waiting for us - I would recommend booking. The service and food is unmatched. The waiters amd waitresses were really lovely and the level of service they offer was exceptional. We were lucky enough to meet the owner as well and he was also so friendly and welcoming and it was wonderful to have a chat and get to know him and the restaurant.
