We came to the Cita Centre and chose here for dinner. The pizza was absolutely delicious and one of the best Diavola pizzas I’ve ever tasted. It was packed with flavour with plenty of toppings though I personally could have had more peppers for more heat. The dessert was also very good, as was my Mojito.
I’ve given less stars for service as the man who greeted us did not show us to our table, just gestured to where we should sit. Any time I’ve eaten anywhere in Gran Canaria over my two week holiday, I’ve been asked what language then the correct page found on the menu, then the menu handed to me. This waiter did neither, just handed us the menus which we then riffled through the many pages to find the English menu. Not a huge issue, just different to what I’ve experienced everywhere else. Our female waitress was very nice and attentive.
I would definitely return and have one of the pasta dishes next time as the ones they served to other customers looked delicious.
A very nice, reasonably priced restaurant...
Read moreI really don't like to leave a 2 star review to a restaurant/business specially when you see that the staff is being very nice to the other customers. We arrived to this place without a reservation, in spite of the cross face of the manager we were seated. After 3 minutes we were asked to move to a different table as they needed ours to set up a place for a party of 17 who never arrived. The food was great apart from my husband's fillet steak cooked to perfection and chips, covered in salt. The staff was nice apart from the manager who was very curt and unfriendly. I think it was because we haven't reserved a table beforehand? We noticed he was very nice to the other customers, telling stories and laughing with them. After we finished the main course we waited and waited and waited to be offered a dessert menu but nobody was looking at our direction, perhaps it was because husband complained about the salt? We gave up and went to the counter to...
Read moreThe staff were extremely friendly and managed to accommodate us despite reservations being recommended. The food was exceptional and the value for money was great.
Located inside a shopping centre, you would almost certainly miss this diamond if you only look for restaurants on the front. But it is absolutely worth seeking out
I ordered one of the cheapest steaks on the menu at €15 with a bernaise sauce. The meat was amazing. Cooked to perfection and melt in the mouth. I couldn't detect an ounce of fat, this was one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. Accompanied with fries and a grilled red pepper, this meal was excellent.
The desert was described as some type of traditional Canarian desert, but it was basically a cheesecake topped with meringue and it was fantastic. This was an absolute classic meal and I would strongly recommend it to anyone staying in Maspalomas or...
