Relax Beach Club — Restaurant in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

Our local place, down from the hotel where we would have breakfast each morning… very good prices and excellent service off Milvia…. On a Thursday they have a live band which is excellent ( different band each week ), The first Thursday we arrived late the music had finish at 10,and we arrived at 10:30ish…. Still a good vibe though… We booked for the following Thursday…. The band was great although we didn’t necessarily understand her songs as 2/3rd were in Spanish… But the songs we did were great, she had a very good voice and her versions of Turner Turner, queen were excellent… The food from the kitchen was excellent and again the service was excellent, esp that thurs night from Judith and Lucia Thx guys for a memorable time. Esp on wife’s 50th birthday...

Food was delicious and we enjoyed it ( fried cheese, salads and mascarpone cheesecake dessert - yummy) not giving 5 stars now only because there is a significant gap between the professionality and approach of individual staff members which is really shaping the overall experience in the restaurant. Our main waitress was showing signals of not caring so much ( forgetting our requests for the language menu, not cleaning the table, going away in the middle of ordering without any explanation or excuse, etc.) While others were very friendly and professional. ( perhaps she was new, however was also lacking the effort) Recommending the owner to establish and monitor the desired standards expected from the staff members to narrow the approach gap between the...

The first impression you get is that this place is quite nice when walking passed the entrance. Inside, however, the interior is quite bland. If you like having sun when you’re eating, there are only two tables which will get 2 hours of sun everyday. Two tables are behind glass so there you can get warm but not tan. We ordered a ’sex on the beach’ and a frozen strawberry margarita’, they were really bad, especially the margarita. The sex on the beach was like a screw driver, i.e. nothing special. The service was quite nice, not enough to actually give a fair judgement. We ordered the burger, it was okay, actally better than other locations than around here like mao mao.
