Papi’s Grill is a wonderful restaurant. It’s right next to Hotel New Folias and the residents of this hotel have dinner here as part of their half board/all inclusive. But of course it is accessible to everyone.

Let me start by saying that the service here is really amazing, the people are very friendly, attentive and professional. We never waited to be seated and the delivery of drinks and food was always quick. It was a pleasure to watch them work, as they were a great team and they worked flawlessly together.

The atmosphere is very pleasant, as the restaurant is cozy and modern. Sometimes there’s also a pianist or a singer, which was a very lovely touch to the experience.

The main thing - food here is extremely good. One minor issue, the steaks were always slightly undercooked, when ordering medium, you would get medium rare or so, maybe keep that in mind when ordering steaks. But the meat was always great quality and well seasoned. The other meals, starters and desserts were also very delicious.

Booked here for my meat lover husband's birthday, and it did not disappoint! The staff lovely, chatty and highly trained. Very helpful but not intrusive on our meal. The decor is stunning and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Shout out to the amazing live piano player and singer who added to the experience even more. The food was out of this world! We had the prawn and sweet chilli started which was great. The main attraction had to be the t-bone steak. A special cart is brought to the table with the server carving the steak into pieces. These are placed on the t-bone and served on a hot plate to the table. You are presented with sea salt and you cook the steak to your liking as you eat. Amazing. Chanced upon this steakhouse on my first evening on holiday. What a find. They welcomed me very warmly with no booking and I had a choice of sitting indoors or outdoors. I chose outdoors. They have a fantastic selection of drinks on offer, anything you can think of really. I ordered a ginger ale with fresh lime juice. For food I had the 350g ribeye with Canaria potatoes, sauteed veg and a mushroom sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy and had that beautiful smokey grill taste.
