Restaurant Ritz — Restaurant in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

After many years as a regular guest at the Ritz, we unfortunately had to realize the quality of the food and the quality of the staff had dropped enormously. For example.... the black Risotto is not a Risotto! It is simply cooked rice in a black salty sauce. the prawns were completely forgotten and the artistic painting on the edge of the plate tasted rancid. the tagliata from the fillet is only half the size compared to the years before. hardly any lettuce with 3 pieces of which one was well done, one was medium and one was raw. the grana padano tastes extremely like a fridge is smelling. but the crowning glory is some of the male staff. Bodybuilding has priority it seems.... arrogant and unfriendly to male guests, just as annoyed by hetero couples, but when single women are guests they flirt as much as possible. regardless of the fact that other guests wanted to order or pay at the neighbor tables. We have now seen this on several evenings from the bar across the street. shame about the place. Why the management does not realise what is going on there . We wish the Ritz...

Food is your typical ‘brits abroad favourites’ classics. No flavour and of poor quality. We actually came in as a group of 15. We were looking for other options at the time, but a member of staff from the restaurant approached us and invited us. It was a total chaos, different member of staff takes the other than the one bringing it out, so they are confused and don’t know who is drinking/eating what. Our food took a long time to come (we did tell them we had a show to go to so were on a time pressure). Some of the starters arrived so late, we had to chase them, in the end they came out twice etc. we were in a rush, so didn’t throughly check the bill, we after checking we were overcharged by the starters which supposedly came out twice. I ordered a burger. It was a big portion with French fries, very good meat and white (goat?) cheese inside, (...) and caramelized onions, but half of it was completely burnt and black, super unhealthy. The waiters are a bit cumbersome, you cannot easily choose; when I looked at the menu, within the first 40 seconds different waiters asked me three times if I had already chosen... This is the lack of attention to the customer, if you cannot identify when a customer is ready to order by his/her behaviour. At the end, the lady accepting the payment asked if I wanted to leave a tip. If the customer wants, he/she leaves it. Isn't that how that...
