Skansen Restaurant — Restaurant in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

Unfortunately the staff and menu changed. The service is bad and they brought us two wrong meals (ordered veal cordon bleu filled with iberico with three sauces called “skansen” cordon bleu and got a normal chicken one with ham and only one sauce). We told the waiter, who offered to change it, but we were fine with it. We just told them to be careful with the bill, since the Skansen cordon bleu is more expensive than the normal one. At the end the bill was wrong and they started discussing with us with very poor excuses. After a few minutes we just paid the few euros too much and left. After many many times there as a couple and with friends every year for many years, we will surely never come back again. Two stars because the food (even if wrong) was...

We had already decided to eat at this restaurant but none the less even as we walked in we still got pressured by the restaurant staff to come in.. To be honest this normally puts me off but having already decided to eat here we carried on in.. the Decor is dated and the whole place needs some TLC but is acceptable. The service of our drinks was slow and the drinks were not cold, our soup however was hot, delivered quickly and tasty too.. the main course was also delivered in good time and was reasonable in price and quality. The musician that was playing plays guitar and sax well but should give up trying to sing... All in all a reasonable experience but overpriced for what it is as you can get much better food for more reasonable prices...

This was unfortunately disappointing almost from start to finish:

-vegetarian burrito contained chicken. They replaced it with the vegetarian version and the new one tasted good. -I asked for fries instead of nachos, but got nachos and not fries. -my partners steak was ordered medium cooked, but was more raw. But the steak was good and my partner liked it anyway -we ordered 1 banana split that never came, after about 45 minutes of waiting we just asked for the bill. -we got charged for 1 soda we had never ordered. This got removed from the bill and we got a new bill that was correct.

When we arrived it was just our table and one more that was being served, so not crowded in...
