If you're a burger lover visiting Maspalomas, Toro Smash Burger is an absolute must-try. We stumbled upon it while exploring the area and were immediately drawn in by the relaxed vibe and mouthwatering smells coming from the open kitchen. What followed was one of the most satisfying burger experiences we've had in a long time.

What sets Toro Smash Burger apart is the build-your-own concept. Instead of choosing from a standard menu, you get to customize your burger from start to finish — and the options are genuinely impressive. From different types of buns and cheeses to a variety of toppings and sauces, you can really create a burger that’s tailored exactly to your taste. It felt more like a creative experience than just placing an order, which made it all the more fun.

We both chose our own combinations, and it was great to see how easy and intuitive the ordering process was. Despite how many choices we made, everything was prepared very quickly — surprisingly fast for something so fresh and made to order. That’s a big plus if you're hungry and don’t feel like waiting long.

Now to the most important part: the burger itself. The meat was excellent — juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. It had that classic smash burger crust that’s crispy on the outside but still tender and rich inside. You could tell the quality of the ingredients was a priority here. The toppings were fresh and perfectly balanced, and the bun held everything together without getting soggy — a small detail that makes a big difference.

Portion-wise, it was spot on: satisfying without being overwhelming, and paired with their crispy fries and a cold drink, it made for the perfect casual meal.

The staff were also really friendly and helpful, happy to walk us through the different choices without rushing us. You could feel that they take pride in what they do, and it really added to the overall experience.

¡Una reseña mala! Me fui con mi amigo a beber un café y mi amigo ha pedido un cafe normal pero en un vaso grande y con más leche. Como hemos bebido tiempo atras ahi un frappe que no estaba en la lista y nos han cobrado mucho, esta vez le dije a la camarera: "espero qué no tenemos que pagar doble"... la chica no dijo nada, se fue y volvio con un cafe normal y uno en un vaso mas grande, con mas leche. Cuándo vino la cuenta vino la sorpresa también. ¡Nos han cobrado 3 cafés! Uno mio y 2 cafes para mi amigo! Asi que por un poco mas de leche mi amigo pago 3.20€ su café. ¡Qué verguenza! Ni en el Hotel Costa Meloneras 5* no he bebido un cafe tan caro! Y esto no es todo: mi amigo ha pedido la Oja de Reclamaciones, pero claro que no tienen, ¡asi como seria legal tener! Y qué pasara si hagamos otra reclamación, quizas el jefe cambiara el precio de este café de lujo que bebio mi amigo! Me olvide pedir para llevar el cafe en polvo que nos deben para el tercer café que no hemos bebido pero hemos pagado!

Y como no puedo contestar al dueńo a su respuesta, contesto aqui: pues no, la falta de respecto y educación viene de usted y su personal… porque con prepotencia le puede cobrar a un cliente el mas caro café, que ni un hotel de 5* no lo cobra! El pedido de mi amigo no fue nada extraordinario, nada qué no se podria cobrar a un precio normal. Aaaa, y hay más: segun la ley es obligatorio tener la oja de reclamaciones en la cafeteria, ¡ a la disposición del cliente! El cliente no tiene que esperar que venga con el encargado y hay más: yo que estuve ahi, no escuche nada de gritos y creo que es normal que un cliente pueda expresar su desacuerdo si considera que en la cuenta...

It's always worth going away from the „Yumbo Centre“ to eat. Today we walked the few minutes to San Fernando and to "Toro Hot Smash Burger" and, as always, the journey was 150% worth it.
